I interviewed my mom because she is my hero. What changed my mom’s life was god. My mom was a mess before. But after she married my dad he went to church. My mom liked it and read the bible and all of a sudden boom it hit her and changed her life. She said it felt great. She told me she had no idea what she was doing with her life before she met God. Her life now was better and better. She even met new friends. They made her feel so welcome and really understood her past life and didn’t judge. I am very happy that my mom is happy. The people that are in my family are my mom, step dad, sister, brother, two dogs, and me. I am very happy and thankful for my family. I hope to be just like my mom when I grow up.

The person I was going to interview was my brother but he wasn’t being very nice and my mom was busy and I didn’t feel like asking my dad. So I am going to interview myself and write about what changed me personally. When I first got my Xbox 360 it was on my tenth birthday. I was so excited I got one because I had been wanting one for so long. My favorite types of games are the shooting games. It changed my because it taught me how to aim so now I can beat my dad in mini golf or tie or beat with my brother when we bowl. Sometimes I loss to him because he plays the shooting games a lot too. I play my Xbox all the time for a couple of hours. If I didn’t have it I would probably be bored to death.

I interviewed my brother. My brother dropped out of high school. I asked my brother why he dropped out of school and he said because he thought he wasn’t smart enough. When he dropped out of school he would just stay at home all day. The first two weeks he was at home but then my dad started to nag him so he started looking for a job. Right away he got a job in landscaping with my dad. When my mom told him if he would have finished school he would have gotten a better job. After talking to my mom about it he decided to go back to school and it really changed him. He started having hope and believing in himself. He met his girlfriend at school and now is thinking about marrying her. He still works at landscaping with my dad just to bring some money in. His job in mind now is becoming an engineer. He is happy about going to back school. He feels like he made the right decision.

My story
I have had a lot of turning points in my life. I couldn’t have done or been successful with any of them if it wasn’t for God. In high school I fooled around a lot. All I really focused on was socializing, my boyfriend at the time, different guys when I didn’t have a boyfriend, parties, and drama. That’s all that mattered to me and I could’ve cared less about my grades and I would settle with C’s when I knew I could get A’s. I spent all three of my high school years that way. My mom would be so frustrated with me and I remember she would always tell me “pay now or pay later”. Like all mom’s she was right and I wished I would have listened to her because now I am paying when I know I could have gotten a scholarship to college but now I have to pay the price. My senior year in high school I met some friends and a best friend that made me so studios to this day. I am so thankful that God put her in my life. Without her I don’t even know where I would be. I would probably not be in college. I got good grades the last semester of my senior year. I learned not to settle for less than what I deserve. I still regret to this day that I should’ve done better in high school. The worse feeling is knowing I could have done great. In high school I would always do well in science. It was funny because when you would look at my report card my science grade would always be either B’s or A’s and everything else was bad. Honestly I didn’t even try but science was always easy for me like it was just natural. Even though it bores me to death I am really good at it. When I look back now I wish I would’ve made my mom proud. Now I work hard and will not settle for less than what I deserve. I am a perfectionist now in school and I love it. I love who I am now. My mom could never have been any prouder and still is shocked and asks what has happened to me?
